My client is a globally recognised manufacturer of sophisticated laboratory diagnostics systems, trusted by healthcare professionals to accurately diagnose and test patients for a wide range of medical conditions and diseases. This brand leader supplies a wide range of innovative diagnostic-based laboratory and medical systems to the healthcare sector, including applications for microbiology, clinical chemistry, molecular diagnostics and laboratory automation.
Following expansion, they seek to recruit a technically motivated and customer-focused Field Service Engineer responsible for the service, installation, breakdown, repair and calibration of a wide range of sophisticated medical laboratory diagnostics systems, utilised within pathology departments, NHS laboratories and clinical chemistry environments. The successful applicant will support haematology, clinical chemistry, and laboratory automation systems located at hospital sites throughout the region.
To succeed in this exciting role, you must have a competent background in electronic or electro-mechanical service engineering within high-value capital equipment environments. Applications are encouraged from engineers with a broad range of sectors, including medical, laboratory, scientific, Ex Armed Forces (REME, Navy, RAF), print-press systems, broad ranges of manufacturing equipment, and other high-value equipment sectors. A qualification in engineering, electronics or a science-based subject is preferable.
Compensation: £52K - £54K Including Bonus + Company Car or Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits Package + Full Product Training
Location: Hertfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire; Enfield, Hitchin, St Albans, Stevenage, Luton, Hatfield, Letchworth, Welwyn Garden City, Royston, Cambridge, Harlow, Hertford, Biggleswade and surrounding areas.
