Medical Field Service Engineer – X‑ray, CT & MRI Imaging Systems

Location: West London, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire (Harrow, Ealing, Chiswick, Wembley, Hounslow, Uxbridge, Southall, High Wycombe, Slough, Reading, Kingston‑upon‑Thames, Richmond, Epsom & Weybridge).

Salary: £42,000‑£45,000 base plus overtime & bonus, company car and comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, contributory pension scheme and full manufacturer‑based product training.

Overview

We are a global leader in advanced medical imaging devices. We seek motivated field service engineers to support our X‑ray, CT and MRI systems across hospitals and healthcare centres.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on‑site service, repair and maintenance of X‑ray, CT and MRI imaging systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, coordinating with engineering support when needed.
  • Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, acting as the primary technical point of contact for users.
  • Travel to sites throughout West London, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a field service or service engineer – preferably in medical devices, laboratory equipment, semiconductor or other high‑value capital equipment sectors.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent customer‑service skills and professional demeanour in client‑facing environments.
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel across the service area.
