An excellent opportunity for a Field Service Engineer with a background working with electrical or electro-mechanical capital equipment to join a market-leading supplier of sophisticated Scientific & Industrial Laboratory Equipment.

My client is a leader in the supply of sophisticated laboratory-based instrumentation, used in a wide range of applications, including automation and robotics, test and measurement and optical visualisation systems. Their systems are trusted by scientific professionals to deliver ‘best in class’ product solutions across their key markets, which include life science research and laboratory diagnostics. This organisation operates at the forefront of technology and innovation, with an unrelenting commitment to research and development, world class manufacturing facilities, and the recruitment of good people central to their future success.

Following expansion, this market leader in laboratory technology now seeks to recruit a technically motivated and customer focused Field Service Engineer, responsible for the planned preventative maintenance, service, breakdown and repair of a wide range of leading-edge Laboratory Instrumentation, based at customer sites throughout the region above. This role is home based and will involve travelling to customer sites throughout the territory, ensuring that the highest levels of customer service are always maintained.

Suitable candidates for this exciting role will need to possess a qualification in Electronics, Engineering or Science, and have gained experience working in a customer facing field service engineer, or be an ex-HM Forces Engineer, looking for their first move into field service. Experience servicing high value capital equipment is essential. Full and comprehensive product training will be provided, so applicants are welcome from Field Service Engineers from a broad array of backgrounds and industry sectors.
