Head Of QA & Technical - Menswear in Southampton

Job Description

We are working on a brilliant senior opportunity with a fast-paced apparel business to lead the QA and technical function across their menswear categories. This is a commercially focused, hands‑on role for a technical expert who can confidently manage fit, quality, compliance, and supplier standards while partnering cross‑functionally to deliver on the critical path.

The successful candidate will bring leadership, resilience, and in‑depth menswear expertise to support a multi‑brand, high‑volume product environment.

Key Responsibilities will include

• Set and implement QA and technical strategy aligned with brand and customer requirements
• Oversee fit, grading, construction, testing, and fabric performance across menswear categories
• Ensure full compliance with UK, EU, and international regulations and licensing standards
• Own the technical critical path and drive timely approvals and problem resolution
• Work closely with offshore factories to ensure consistent product quality and manage supplier performance
• Resolve technical and compliance issues at speed without compromising brand integrity
• Partner with design, production, sourcing and supply chain to support fast‑paced product development
