We are currently working with a supplier specialising in womenswear across jersey, soft wovens and tailoring who are working with leading UK supermarkets, and are looking for an experienced Senior Garment Technologist with digital pattern cutting expertise to join their technical team. They are looking for a Senior Tech who can take ownership of key accounts while combining garment technology with digital pattern cutting. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys both the technical garment development process and digital pattern work. The role is fully office-based in London (5 days per week).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage technical development across womenswear categories including jersey, soft wovens, and tailoring
- Manage your own accounts
- Attend fit sessions and provide detailed technical fit comments
- Approve samples from proto through to production
- Identify and resolve fit and construction issues during development
- Communicate clearly with factories and internal teams to maintain timelines and quality
- Create and amend digital patterns using systems such as Optitex, Gerber, or Vetigraph
- Carry out pattern amendments and alterations following fit sessions

- Proven experience as a Senior Garment Technologist within womenswear
- Strong background working with UK high street retailers
- Digital pattern cutting experience using systems such as Optitex, Gerber or Vetigraph
- Ability to create, amend and develop patterns digitally
- Confident leading fit sessions and providing clear technical feedback
- Be highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Able to manage your own accounts and workload independently
