Nightwear/ Loungewear Designer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with our client a leading supplier to major high street retailers and supermarkets. Our client is seeking a commercially driven Nightwear /Loungewear Designer with a strong trend-focused feminine portfolio and solid product development experience.

Key Duties & Responsibilities will include

• Create and develop commercial, trend-led designs for key retail accounts
• Work closely with buyers to present ranges and respond to briefs
• Oversee product development from initial concept through to production
• Source and develop fabrics in line with seasonal trends
• Create mood boards, colour palettes, and trend direction presentations
• Conduct in-depth trend research and produce clear concept designs and technical packs
• Collaborate closely with the sales team and report directly to the Design Director

Person specification

• Proven experience designing women\’s nightwear and/or loungewear
• Highly commercial with a strong understanding of the UK high street market
• A feminine and trend-aware design aesthetic
• Strong technical skills, including the ability to produce detailed and clear tech packs
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple deadlines
• Confident, ambitious, and comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Background in design from either a supplier or retailer
