We are looking for a commercially driven Junior Designer across girlswear & womenswear to join an established multinational fashion company based in London offering hybrid working. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic, trend-led environment, collaborating with globally recognised retailers.

This role will suit someone with previous design experience across girls and/or womenswear within a retailer or supplier environment. Experience in licensing would be advantageous for this role, but not essential.

Main responsibilities will include:

  1. Conduct seasonal trend and catwalk research to inspire fresh and commercially relevant designs.
  2. Present trends and concepts to clients, securing briefs and fostering strong relationships with Buyers and Designers.
  3. Create detailed technical packs, ensuring clarity for overseas production teams and factories.
  4. Collaborate with factories to ensure timely product development and oversee sample tracking.
  5. Organise materials for meetings, manage the showroom, and communicate effectively with global teams and suppliers.
  6. Manage administrative tasks, including tracking critical paths, handling samples, photographing and cataloguing products, and coordinating lab dips and strike-offs.

Person specification:

  1. Previous design experience specialising in girlswear and/or womenswear with a strong commercial portfolio.
  2. Experience in licensing would be a plus but not essential.
  3. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator etc).
  4. Highly organised with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  5. A team player who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and adds value to the company culture.
