We are working with a leading fashion company seeking a talented and experienced Design Manager to lead their Menswear and Boyswear categories. This is an exciting opportunity to drive creative direction across woven, jersey, and leisurewear ranges while managing a small, high-performing design team. Based in Manchester, you'd be working across a diverse global customer base including the UK, EU, US, and Canada, you will play a key role in delivering commercially successful and trend-led collections.

Main Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Driving the design vision across menswear and boyswear categories including woven, jersey, and leisure
  • Collaborating closely with the Head of Department to align on strategy, range direction, and key objectives
  • Overseeing the end-to-end design process from concept through to final product
  • Leading and managing a team of 3 designers, providing clear direction, mentorship, and development
  • Ensuring all collections are trend-led, commercially viable, and aligned with customer requirements
  • Working across multiple international customers (UK, EU, US, Canada), adapting designs to market needs
  • Presenting concepts, ranges, and seasonal direction to internal stakeholders and clients
  • Managing workload, timelines, and critical paths to ensure on-time delivery
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams including buying, merchandising, and technical teams

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience in a Design Manager or Senior Designer role within menswear
  • Strong background across woven, jersey, and/or leisurewear categories
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing
  • Ability to work across multiple customers and adapt to different brand identities
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Passion for product, innovation, and trend awareness
