Design Assistant - Menswear

A fantastic opportunity has opened up with a fashion brand looking to expand their menswear team.
This role will support the design department across multiple product categories, with a focus on mood and trend board research. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong communication skills, a creative eye, and a passion for learning and career growth.
Main Responsibilities include:

• Assist Designers in developing seasonal collections from concept to final product.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, fabrics, colours, and design techniques.
• Create and update technical sketches, CADs, and design boards.
• Manage the critical path and ensure deadlines are met.
• Prepare design presentations for meetings.
• Support product sample development, including tracking and coordinating with suppliers.
• Provide general administrative support as needed.

Person Specifications:

• Degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• At least one year of relevant industry experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
