This is an exciting opportunity to join a fashion brand based in Watford as a Commercial Paralegal, supporting both legal and HR functions in a fast-paced, international environment.
You\’ll work closely with the Head of Legal and senior leadership, gaining hands-on experience drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts, advising on legal risk, and supporting business-critical projects across the group. With exposure to global operations and the chance to contribute to both legal and HR processes, this role is perfect for a proactive, detail-driven individual looking to develop their career in-house within a dynamic and stylish brand.

Main Responsibilities will Include:
- Support the Head of Legal and wider legal team with daily tasks and legal operations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial agreements including supply, distribution, consultancy, and service contracts.
- Provide legal guidance on commercial matters and assist with updating internal policies and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Advise management and directors on various legal issues across the business, including legal risks in contracts and commercial terms.
- Manage and maintain the legal document library, contract database, and HR folders as needed.
- Assist with HR-related legal tasks such as employment contracts, liaising with external counsel, and handling disciplinary or redundancy procedures.
- Report to the Group CEO/Director on project updates and participate in cross-functional meetings with other group entities.
Person Specifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of post-qualifying legal experience or completing a para-legal training.
- Prior in-house experience in a commercial entity would be an advantage.
- You must be efficient, positive, self-motivated, enthusiastic and must be keen to learn.
- Strong communication skills (including but not limited to having strong drafting skills, ability to clearly and concisely explain concepts) and to be able to see the bigger picture by providing commercially sound advice.
