We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail‑oriented Assistant Designer to join a dynamic and innovative design team, specialising in womenswear with a focus on jersey‑based products. In this role, you’ll work closely with the senior team, contributing to both creative and administrative tasks, while gaining invaluable hands‑on experience and collaborating with international partners. This opportunity will suit a Fashion Graduate with some industry / internship experience and a true passion for womenswear.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Assist in creating tech packs, conducting trend research, and managing customer revisions
- Perform market analysis and coordinate with external print and graphic designers, ensuring timely delivery of assets
- Support senior designers with creative tasks such as fabric sourcing, sample tracking, and maintaining an organised fabric library
- Collaborate with factories to ensure timely product development and oversee sample tracking
- Organise materials for meetings, manage the showroom, and communicate effectively with global teams and suppliers
- Stay updated on market trends, manage sample records, and track progress to meet deadlines
- Participate in team meetings, track assigned tasks, and support timely project execution
Person specifications:
- Degree in Fashion Design or a related field
- Previous work experience or internship within a design environment
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Excellent communication skills, and exceptional organisational abilities
