We are looking for a creative who genuinely lives and breathes performance sport and streetwear culture to join our fast-growing portfolio of leading lifestyle, luxury, and sportswear brands as an Assistant Designer. This role is primarily womenswear-focused, with opportunities to support menswear projects, and offers hands-on exposure to bespoke collections and brand-led projects while working closely with a senior team. A strong eye for colour, detail, and trend, along with a solid understanding of the current sports and streetwear landscape, is key to making an impact in this role.

Main Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Research and analyse seasonal trends, key items, and market direction across womenswear, menswear, and activewear.
  • Develop creative research packs, including themes, colour stories, fabric direction, and mood boards aligned to the seasonal brief.
  • Create original design sketches, technical specifications, and detailed tech packs for all styles.
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Designer to build and evolve seasonal ranges and product stories.
  • Maintain accurate records of design and development, including fabrication, prints, and style updates.
  • Manage range plans and critical paths to ensure all deadlines and development milestones are met.

Person Specifications:

  • 1-2 years' experience in an apparel design role within fashion, lifestyle, sportswear, performance, or outdoor markets, with strong trend awareness and market research skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
  • Confident designing collections independently while collaborating closely with and supporting the Senior Designer.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and self-motivated, with strong communication skills, cultural awareness, and a solid understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and pattern cutting.
