We are partnering with a fast-growing womenswear fashion brand with a strong global presence and a loyal customer following. Renowned for its distinctive product offering, inclusive approach, and strong brand identity, the business has experienced significant growth and continues to expand across multiple channels and international markets. As part of its continued success, the brand is seeking an experienced Senior Fashion Buyer to join the team and play a key role in shaping future product strategy, driving category performance, and delivering commercially successful collections.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing category buying strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Building commercially successful product ranges through trend analysis, customer insight, and sales data.
  • Managing the product lifecycle from concept through to launch and trading.
  • Collaborating closely with Design, Merchandising, Production, and Ecommerce teams.
  • Driving sales, margin, and profitability across key product categories.
  • Identifying opportunities for growth across retail, ecommerce, and wholesale channels.
  • Managing supplier relationships and negotiating costs to achieve margin targets.
  • Analysing market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activity to inform buying decisions.
  • Presenting seasonal strategies and trade performance to senior stakeholders.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior members of the buying team.

Person specifications:

  • Significant buying experience gained within a fashion retailer or fashion-led brand.
  • Strong womenswear product knowledge with a keen eye for trends and customer preferences.
  • Proven track record of delivering category growth and commercial success.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and forecasting skills.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management experience.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to balance creativity and profitability.
  • Experience working closely with Design, Merchandising, and Ecommerce teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience working across international markets would be advantageous.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for product and delivering results.
