We are working with a leading womenswear supplier who are looking to appoint a Senior Account Manager to manage and develop high-volume accounts across womenswear jersey and woven multiproduct. This is a key role within the business and would suit a commercially driven candidate with strong supplier or buying experience, excellent critical path management skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships. The successful candidate will be highly organised, process driven and confident managing the detail, while also having the sales ability to grow accounts and identify new opportunities. Experience working with high-volume retail accounts is essential, and Bangladesh sourcing or production experience would be highly beneficial.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Managing and developing key womenswear multiproduct
- Building strong relationships with buyers and internal teams to ensure excellent service and repeat business
- Driving account growth through strong commercial awareness, customer knowledge and sales ability
- Managing the critical path from development through to delivery, ensuring key dates are met
- Working closely with design, merchandising, production, technical and sourcing teams to support smooth order progression
- Preparing and maintaining accurate customer information, order trackers, Excel reports and account administration
- Monitoring samples, approvals, costings, production progress and delivery schedules
- Supporting customer meetings, range presentations and follow-up actions to ensure opportunities are maximised
Person specification:
- Previous experience in account management, sales, buying or product development within womenswear, ideally from a supplier background
- Strong experience working with high-volume retail accounts is essential
- Experience in womenswear multiproduct
- Highly organised and process driven, with excellent Excel, admin and critical path management skills
- Commercially aware, confident with customers and suppliers, with a can-do attitude and strong relationship-building skills
