Due to continued growth and success, my client is looking to appoint an experienced Sales Director to join their established team, leading and developing a key Primark account across Womenswear multi-product. This role requires someone with a strong Buying background, who understands the fast-paced demands of high-volume retail and can translate customer needs into commercially successful product. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing large retail accounts, building strong relationships with Buyers, and driving incremental growth. You will play a key role in managing the day-to-day relationship with Primark while working closely with internal design, product and sourcing teams to deliver ranges that meet both customer expectations and business objectives. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven individual to take ownership of a major account and be part of a successful, growing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Primark account, acting as the main senior contact
- Build strong relationships with Buyers and key stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to drive growth across Womenswear multi-product
- Work closely with design and product teams to develop commercially relevant ranges
- Oversee the critical path from sampling through to order placement and delivery
- Support negotiations around cost prices, margins and delivery timelines
- Ensure orders are commercially viable, accurate and delivered on time
- Provide regular reporting, forecasts and commercial updates to senior leadership
