We are working with a reputable premium brand who are looking for an Assistant Merchandiser across accessories to support their team. You will be supporting in the management of the end-to-end process of the critical path along with ensuring strong communication with suppliers and PO management as well as supporting the merchandising function with analysis to ensure a balanced and commercial range. This role would suit someone currently working at a Senior Allocator level or current Assistant Merchandiser who is ambitious, organised and a great team player. This role offers hybrid working 3/2.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Support in the management of the department critical path with the cross functional counterparts to ensure timely delivery of the product.
  • Managing shipment approvals (checking ex-factory dates are on time, volume discrepancies, gold seal inspections completed, packing lists entered).
  • Daily communication with suppliers, factories, agents/mills as well as liaison with internal departments.
  • Flagging any risks or opportunities to Merchandiser/Senior Merchandiser.
  • Making suggestions and offering solutions to production problems.
  • Manage barcodes and special tickets requirements with suppliers and the warehouse.
  • Supplier analysis for end of season reviews (monitor KPIs).
  • Support in managing the option framework ensuring a balanced range for all channels and markets.
  • Create necessary trading reports to support global overview of performance weekly/monthly/seasonal.
  • Ad hoc.

Person specification:

  • Experience at a Senior Allocator level or current Assistant Merchandiser in a fashion environment.
  • Numerate & Analytical, intermediate level on Excel.
  • Organised with ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Friendly and a team player!
