We have partnered with a dynamic, multi-brand group home to a portfolio of reputable global brands, operating across menswear and womenswear categories on a worldwide scale. We are looking for an ambitious and driven Junior Product Developer to join our fast-paced product team, supporting the development of exciting collections from initial concept through to bulk production. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their fashion career who is eager to learn, grow and make their mark within a collaborative and creative environment, working closely with Design, Technical, Sales and Marketing teams to bring beautiful products to life.

Main Responsibilities

  • Primarily working on Vera Wang and Ted Baker Sports & other group brands as required, across various categories of men's and womenswear from initial concept through to bulk samples.
  • Assist and support the Senior Product Developer with day-to-day duties.
  • Collaborate with Design, Technical, Sales and Marketing as needed.
  • Act as factory liaison – point of contact for suppliers and factories.
  • Manage the full critical path from initial design to finished product, working on both Inline and SMU collections, identifying key milestones and deadlines to ensure tasks are completed on time.
  • Handle all product approvals from lab dips, strike‑off, bulk fabrics and trims, including collaboration with Design and Technical teams and sharing with Key Accounts on an SMU basis.
  • Set up organized trackers and filing systems to monitor workload and approvals.
  • Participate in weekly critical path meetings to review status and implement solutions to keep deliveries on schedule.
  • Coordinate sample requests and shipments, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to internal teams and external partners; manage in/outgoing samples and maintain archives with a clear log.
  • Attend fit sessions with Technical and PD teams for inline collections and SMUs.
  • Hang and prepare samples for fit meetings, prioritizing and taking notes as required.
  • Manage sample in/outflow of the business and prepare DHL shipments.
  • Conduct competitive shops and price analysis to stay attuned to customer needs.
  • Continuously assess and streamline administrative processes to optimise efficiency and productivity within the department.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and sustainable practices that could be incorporated into the brands.

Person Specifications

  • Currently working in the fashion industry.
  • Minimum one to two years of product experience in apparel.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem‑solving skills and ability to use initiative, be self‑driven.
  • Experience dealing with overseas factories.
  • Ability to manage multiple data sets.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Illustrator and competence with CADs, tech packs, fitting measurements, etc.
