An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join an incredibly successful fashion supplier who are expanding their team and seeking a talented and innovative Designer across baby & childrenswear.
Must have DISNEY experience on licensed graphics, you'll play a pivotal role in designing fashion-forward commercial collections that resonate with the target market. Based in the heart of London's West End, this is a fantastic opportunity to be working alongside the Sales and Design Director in a creative and fast-paced environment. This role offers a unique opportunity for career growth and development to be part of an exciting sourcing and design office.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Design and develop innovative babywear & childrenswear ranges for customers
- Create and present trend-led designs, mood boards, colour palettes, and trend boards
- Produce detailed technical packs to ensure first-time sample accuracy
- Conduct trend research and analysis, staying ahead of colour, print, and fabric trends
- Identify and adapt to the identity and handwriting of key retail partners
- Sourcing of new fabrics and trims
Person specification:
- Proven experience in babywear and/or childrenswear design, with a strong portfolio showcasing licensed graphics
- Strong presentation skills, confident in showcasing ideas to both internal teams and buyers
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for design development
- Highly organised, enthusiastic, and motivated
- A commercial mindset with great attention to detail
