Recruitment Consultant – Fashion Design, Production, Technical, Retail and Head Office
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Designer across accessories. This role will be in creating innovative, trend-driven, and technically proficient products for both men\’s and women\’s collections.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for accessories design, a keen eye for detail, and experience in accessory design, contributing to the brand\’s overall creative vision. The Accessories Product Designer will be responsible for product design of accessories including bags, headwear, knit across the group of brands. They will work directly with the sales teams, product development teams, factories and suppliers.
Main Responsibilities Will Include:
- Design and development of accessories such as bags, socks, and headwear
- Research and experiment with materials, shapes, and hardware to create unique accessory designs that align with the brand\’s identity ensuring everything is aligned with the brand
- Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for accessories, ensuring clear communication with production teams
- Stay updated on new materials, production techniques, and fashion trends, incorporating them into designs
- Attend fittings, reviews, and production meetings to ensure designs are executed accurately and meet the brand\’s quality standards
- Trend Research & Inspiration: Conduct ongoing research on fashion trends, consumer preferences, and market demands to inform the design process
- Constantly stay on top of new trends, current market and the future market needs
- Explore new ideas and innovations in footwear and accessory design to keep the collections fresh and competitive
Person Specifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in accessories design
- Strong portfolio showcasing accessory designs with a focus on creativity and technical proficiency
- Understanding of accessory construction, materials, and production processes
- Experience with accessories such as bags, socks, hats
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and Procreate Software
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects within deadlines
- Knowledge of current fashion trends, with a passion for footwear and accessories design
