We are recruiting for a Senior Designer specialising in casual and formal jackets / outerwear across ladies wear and menswear to work for my client, a leading supplier to several large fashion retailers. This role will be working for one of their major accounts who are one of the largest fashions forward retailers, a commercial young trend led design portfolio is required for this role with relevant experience and a strong technical understanding along with the ability to work in a commercial fast paced environment. Previous supplier experience is required for this role. Some travel to Bangladesh factories will be required. Main Duties and responsibilities will include: Complete trend research, design and develop ranges working with the overseas factories Visit factories in Bangladesh to ensure all samples are correct when requires Ability to create bestselling ranges Attend regular meetings with buyers when required.
