Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining quality manual, policies, procedures, forms and work instructions
- Assist in internal quality audits
- Create PPAP/FAT/FAIR/FPI, and other customer submission packages and submit to Quality Team for approval and submission to customer
- Perform final inspection duties as needed
- Perform receiving inspection duties as needed
- Monitor and create quality and KPI reports for submission to management
- Other responsibilities as required by Quality Team
- Authority to stop production when parts, components or material is non-conforming
Qualifications
- 7-10 Years minimum experience in quality
- 7-10 Years minimum experience in fabrication industry, (job shop environment) preferable
- Ability to read and analyze blue prints
- Proficient in the application and use of GD&T
- Ability to read all types of measurement devices
- Proficient in AIAG and ISO quality documents
- Ability to communicate with all leaders in the company
- Proficient in quality standard ISO 9001-2015 / IATF-16949
- Proficient in the use of SPC, MSA, APQP, FMEA and PPAP
- Proficient in use of Minitab
- Knowledge and use of Romer inspection arm (Preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications and Adobe
- Good customer relation skills
Education Requirements
- 4 Years post high school education in quality or engineering discipline
- Six Sigma green or black belt (Preferred)
