Trowers & Hamlins is recruiting an Associate to join its growing debt capital markets practice within the International Banking and Finance team in London. This role involves handling complex capital markets matters, including conventional and Sharia-compliant transactions, and requires a strong transactional background.

Key Eligibility Criteria

  • Associate grade with a strong transactional track record.
  • Experience advising on DCM transactions: standalone bond issuances, MTN programmes, Sukuk (standalone and programme), liability management exercises, and commercial paper issuances.
  • Experience with general banking transactions (investment grade, secured/unsecured lending using LMA documentation) is a bonus.
  • Experience with structured products and derivatives is a bonus.
  • Demonstrable interest in Islamic finance and the Middle East market.
  • Ability to manage files independently and work within a team.
