As part of our national team of 50 construction specialists, you’ll be based in London, working alongside top-tier colleagues and integrated teams across real estate, corporate, tax, and planning. Our collaborative approach ensures you’re at the heart of complex, high-value developments in sectors including housing, education, leisure, and commercial real estate.

What you will be doing

  • Advising clients including local and central government departments, developers, employers, contractors, investors, housing associations, subcontractors and consultants operating in the commercial / private and public sectors.
  • Providing construction related procurement advice to public sector clients.
  • Advising on all aspects of development through design and construction.
  • Advising on asset management contracts and maintenance contracts.
  • Advising on infrastructure projects.
  • Providing construction due diligence support to the real estate, corporate and banking teams on acquisitions and disposals.
  • Building and maintaining effective client relationships.
  • Active participation in marketing initiatives.
  • Ensuring files are managed in compliance with Lexcel procedures.
  • Participating in firm-wide and departmental training sessions.

What you will need

  • Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE across a whole range of non-contentious construction.
  • Excellent technical skills and innovative approach to their application.
  • Strong client focus.

  • Commercial awareness and excellent financial management.
