We are seeking an organised and proactive Legal Assistant to support the Planning & Environmental team with prior admin experience. The successful candidate will play a key role in keeping the department running smoothly, providing administrative and document support to Partners and fee‑earners. We can consider full time and part time candidates.
The Role
- Support day‑to‑day legal and administrative tasks to ensure effective team operations.
- Manage file opening/closing and electronic document systems.
- Support billing, time recording and client account processes.
- Conduct Land Registry and other online searches.
- Prepare and compile legal documents and PDF bundles.
- Manage data rooms and document storage.
- General administrative tasks, including scanning, printing, post management and expenses.
- Provide support at seminars and assist other teams when required.
The Candidate
- Detail-focused, proactive and confident working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisation skills.
- Excellent communication and client service skills.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and use initiative.
- Previous administrative experience is essential.
