The Role
- Collect and review customer due diligence (CDD) for new clients and undertake CDD.
- Conduct in‑depth research using company registries, corporate databases and risk screening software.
- Provide guidance to fee‑earners on source of funds for transactional matters.
- Carry out client and matter risk assessments on Intapp.
- Handle enquiries from fee earners and support staff, building strong rapport.
- Conduct and analyse potential conflicts of interest using conflicts database searches.
- Assess and communicate conflict search results to fee earners.
- Manage the resolution of conflict issues, escalating to senior analysts when necessary.
The Candidate
- Minimum of 2 years\' experience in legal compliance at an international law firm.
- Experience in AML and legal conflicts management.
- Proficiency in using Intapp Open.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in MS Office, with a willingness to learn new systems.
- A degree in Law, Risk Management, Economics, Politics, Business or related discipline.
