Are you an experienced Senior Learning & Development Officer looking for an exciting opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our award-winning HR department. This full-time, 12-14 month fixed-term contract role is based in Birmingham or London and involves implementing a wide range of learning and development initiatives for legal and business services staff.
The Role
- Design and deliver skills training, development, and induction programmes for legal and business services staff.
- Collaborate with other departments on equity, diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing training sessions.
- Support compliance training and mentoring programmes.
- Introduce and occasionally deliver training sessions, driving L&D innovation.
- Assess training needs, recommend interventions, and support professional qualifications.
- Update the firm's intranet and Learning Management System.
- Utilize psychometric tools for L&D purposes and assist with CPD queries.
- Attend training committee and L&D-related meetings.
- Occasionally travel to other UK offices.
The Candidate
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar role within legal or professional services.
