Are you an experienced Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join the Operations team in our Birmingham or Manchester office. With a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and sustainability, we offer a dynamic environment where your talents will be valued and your contributions will make a difference.
The Role
- Act as the competent person for Health & Safety and fire safety
- Ensure compliance with UK legislation, HSE guidelines, and firm requirements
- Conduct and review necessary assessments and maintain accurate records
- Manage suppliers to ensure safe and compliant delivery of services
- Lead the Health & Safety Committee and develop risk assessments
- Oversee training and engagement for Health & Safety and physical security
- Ensure robust security and emergency procedures
- Manage operational safety initiatives and monitor HSE performance
The Candidate
The ideal candidate for the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager role should possess the following:
- NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety
- Experience in a multi-site estate within a Professional Services environment
- Exceptional relationship management and communication skills
- Ability to influence and problem-solve creatively
- Knowledge of ISO45001 and experience in supplier management
- Chartered Member of IOSH
