The predicted salary is between 17520 - 19710 £ per year.
Responsibilities include taking ownership of the day-to-day running of the Primary Care Network (PCN), ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations, achievement of targets, managing the PCN finances, and planning and attending relevant meetings. Support the practices with innovation to support smarter working, through research and identification of new systems that could be utilised. Work closely with the Practice Managers across both sites to continue building and developing the PCN and exploring other opportunities within the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract management and oversight: Review the PCN contract ensuring all aspects of the contract are being delivered; where gaps are identified, work with the practices to implement solutions; manage contracts with suppliers to the PCN, such as First Contact Physio and any software contracts procured through the PCN; investigate other service opportunities and lead on the process and implementation of these services.
- Digital transformation: Identify opportunities for new IT solutions to support the practices in the PCN; present findings to the Board and support implementation; attend relevant IT meetings; manage the PCN finances, including submitting claims, ensuring returns are completed on time and ensuring correct payments are made to the practices on time; present finances to the Board at the monthly meetings.
- Meeting management: Coordinate meetings (PCN Board and other PCN meetings); take ownership of meeting administration such as invites, agendas and circulating minutes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience of managing performance against targets.
- Experience of managing budgets and financial transactions.
- Experience of setting agendas, running meetings and minute taking.
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems.
- Experience of contract management.
- Experience of implementing new IT systems.
- Experience of working within Primary Care.
