The Plant Operator supports and executes operational activities and processes in accordance with established specifications and safety, quality, and environmental guidelines to achieve production targets in the assigned area.
The Skilled Operator is the basic level of operator, performing routine operational processes in production. They operate equipment and machinery requiring proficiency acquired through on-the-job and specialized training.
Knowledge of materials, equipment, and tools is required, and gaining experience and skills takes time and effort.
The activities involve mostly routine work, performed based on training, experience, and assistance from Multi-Skilled Operators, Supervisors, or Team Leaders when needed.
