Key responsibilities include:
Raising the profile of quality in all company processes
Governing and enforcing quality and food safety standards
Driving continuous improvement
Internal auditing of processes & procedures
Conducting root cause analysis and taking corrective & preventative actions through to completion
Liaising with customers within the pet food industry to meet their needs and expectations
Signing off equipment post-Engineering & cleaning
Conducting plant performance trials
Training personnel in HACCP and food safety
