Genesis Langley, part of Trotman Auto Group and one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies, is seeking an experienced and driven Body Shop Manager to lead our collision repair facility. Who We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in an automotive body shop management or senior leadership role
- Strong understanding of collision repair processes, production flow, and quality standards
- Experience managing ICBC and private insurance partners
- Proven ability to lead teams, coach technicians, and drive performance
- Strong business acumen—comfortable managing budgets, productivity, and KPIs
- Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict‑resolution skills
- Proficient with estimating systems (Mitchell, Audatex, or similar), MS Office, Outlook, and DMS platforms
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
What You’ll Do
- Oversee all aspects of the body shop, including workflow, staffing, customer satisfaction, and profitability
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of technicians, estimators, and administrative staff
- Ensure repairs are completed accurately, efficiently, and to OEM standards
- Manage production schedules, repair timelines, and shop capacity
- Build strong relationships with ICBC and private insurance partners
- Ensure proper estimating, documentation, and file management within DMS/estimating systems
- Monitor quality control processes from pre‑repair inspections to final delivery
- Provide exceptional repair quality paired with a premium customer experience
- Maintain a safe, compliant, and clean work environment
