Trostan Dene are supporting a long-standing client, a high-growth specialist business operating within the education and built environment sectors, in finding an experienced Strategic Sales Executive to drive growth across some of the UK’s largest Multi Academy Trusts and education groups. This is a senior consultative sales role focused on developing long-term partnerships with key stakeholders across estates, operations, and leadership teams. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of strategic accounts, leading the full sales lifecycle from opportunity creation and solution development through to commercial negotiation and contract close.

The business has an established reputation within the education sector and is continuing to expand its service offering across data-led estate management, compliance, property intelligence, and technology-driven solutions. With strong existing market presence and ambitious growth plans, this role offers the opportunity to play a key part in shaping the next phase of commercial expansion.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and growing a portfolio of strategic education-sector accounts
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior decision-makers
  • Developing qualified pipelines and identifying new revenue opportunities
  • Leading consultative sales conversations and commercial negotiations
  • Producing solution-led proposals in collaboration with technical and bid teams
  • Maintaining accurate forecasting, CRM management, and pipeline reporting
  • Supporting improvements to sales processes, governance, and commercial best practice
  • Representing the business at sector events and maintaining awareness of education funding streams and market developments

The successful candidate will have:

  • A proven track record in B2B solution sales with consistent quota achievement
  • Experience selling into the UK education sector, ideally with Multi Academy Trust relationships
  • Strong commercial negotiation and strategic account management experience
  • A consultative and process-driven sales approach
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing long and complex sales cycles
  • Strong CRM and pipeline management discipline
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally

Experience within estates management, facilities, data-led services, SaaS, IoT, BIM, or related sectors would be highly advantageous.

Package & Benefits

  • Salary: £90,000 base
  • Car & travel allowance
  • OTE £150,000 including car allowance
  • Hybrid/remote
  • 31 days holiday including bank holidays (3 to be used for Christmas close down)
  • Extra day holiday for each 5 years’ service
  • Monday – Thursday 9am – 5pm, Friday 9am – 4pm (1 hour paid lunch)
