Role Overview
We are looking for a Manufacturing Production Manager to oversee and coordinate several production areas within our client’s manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality output across various technical processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production, delivering against core KPIs (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People).
- Manage staffing, training, and priorities to meet production needs.
- Lead daily meetings and step in for the Operations Manager when needed.
- Ensure adherence to processes, SOPs, and quality standards.
- Drive audits, corrective actions, and CAPA activity.
- Lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency, quality, and output.
- Uphold 5S and use data to resolve issues and improve flow.
- Coach and develop team leaders and operators.
- Build a culture of accountability, problem‑solving, and engagement.
- Manage attendance and wellbeing in line with policy.
Skills & Experience
- Proven production / operations leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop teams.
- Confident communicator, able to lead meetings and work across functions.
- Proven track record in continuous improvement, Lean, and 5S.
- Data‑driven approach with strong analytical skills.
- Experience supporting senior operations leadership.
- A desire to continue your career development in the coming years.
- Career to date experience in electronics manufacturing (or associated industries) is beneficial although not must have.
Salary is dependent on career experience and qualifications. This role also offers strong potential to develop to Operations Manager level in the next 2-3 years as part of the succession planning, this would of course result in an increased salary / package.
