p strong The Business- /strong /p p An exciting career opportunity has arisen within a successful and growing international manufacturing business who support a range of global customers within multiple sectors. /p p br /p p strong Role Overview- /strong /p p The Procurement Manager will play a lead role in developing and executing procurement strategies that ensure security of supply, cost competitiveness, quality, sustainability, and long-term supplier partnerships. The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, R D, Quality and Sales to support the companys business objectives and growth plans. Key duties include- /p ul li Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives. /li li Manage and continuously improve supplier performance through structured supplier relationship management. /li li Lead supplier negotiations, contract management and commercial discussions to achieve optimum total cost of ownership. /li li Develop sourcing strategies for raw materials, packaging materials, engineering services and indirect spend categories. /li li Ensure continuity of supply by proactively managing supplier risks and market developments. /li li Monitor global market trends, commodity pricing and supply chain developments. /li li Support inventory optimisation activities in collaboration with Planning and Operations teams. /li li Ensure suppliers comply with applicable regulatory, quality, environmental and ethical standards. /li li Drive supplier engagement regarding sustainability requirements, packaging regulations and customer compliance expectations. /li li Monitor procurement KPIs including cost savings, supplier performance, delivery reliability and inventory impact. /li li Drive continuous improvement initiatives within procurement processes. /li li Support implementation and optimisation of ERP and planning systems. /li li Act as the primary procurement contact for strategic sourcing decisions. /li li Collaborate closely with Quality, R D and Operations on supplier qualification and development activities. /li /ul p br /p p strong Skills Experience- /strong /p p Excited by an opportunity to genuinely shape and develop a procurement function, the successful candidate will have demonstrable career experience and achievement in Purchasing / Procurement leadership within manufacturing including the following duties- /p ul li Proven track record of supplier negotiations and cost optimisation. /li li Experience operating within an international supplier environment. /li li Excellent supplier relationship management skills. /li li Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. /li li Experience with ERP systems and procurement analytics. /li li High level of integrity and professional accountability. /li li Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive change. /li /ul p br /p p strong Benefits- /strong /p ul li Competitive salary package /li li Company pension scheme /li li Private health insurance /li li Life assurance /li li Professional development opportunities /li /ul p br /p
