An elite US law firm is seeking a high-calibre Investment Funds Associate (2–5 PQE) to join its market-leading London team. This is a standout opportunity to work within one of the largest and most active global funds practices, advising on complex, high-value fund formations and secondaries transactions across multiple asset classes. The London office acts as a key hub for the firm’s international funds platform, offering exposure to cross-border work alongside leading teams in the US, Europe, and Asia.

You will advise leading fund sponsors and asset managers on a broad range of matters across the full fund lifecycle, including:

  • Structuring and establishing private investment funds
  • Advising on carried interest, co-investments, and investor arrangements
  • Working on continuation funds and secondary transactions
  • Supporting complex cross-border fund launches
  • Advising on regulatory and operational aspects of fund management

The role offers exposure to a wide range of asset classes, including Private Equity, Credit, Infrastructure, Real Estate, Venture Capital and Secondaries transactions. You will work closely with a highly experienced partner group and be part of a large, well-resourced team with strong internal support and collaboration across offices.

Responsibilities

  • Advise leading fund sponsors and asset managers on a broad range of matters across the full fund lifecycle.
  • Work on structuring and establishing private investment funds.
  • Provide advice on carried interest, co-investments, and investor arrangements.
  • Support complex cross-border fund launches.
  • Advise on regulatory and operational aspects of fund management.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years’ PQE from a leading City, US, or international law firm.

  • Strong experience in private funds / investment funds work.
  • Excellent drafting and technical skills.
