This Payroll Manager opportunity is within a manufacturing business based near Nelson, they are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to join their large team. As Payroll Manager, you will be the driving force behind the smooth running of a high-volume, fast-paced payroll operation covering both weekly and monthly payroll whilst managing the team. You will lead an experienced and happy team, ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. In addition to overseeing the payroll function, you will manage time and attendance systems, expenses, journals, credit card reporting, and gender pay gap analysis.
Currently, a large part of this role is taking control of the implementation of a new payroll and accounting system. You will test and assist in all discussions and implementation of this; the role will then progress following this process.
The ideal candidate will have a good general knowledge of compliance and a CIPP qualification would be beneficial; however, the business will consider candidates who are qualified by experience.
