An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate to become part of a highly regarded Investment Funds practice. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of experienced practitioners, developing their expertise in the establishment and structuring of investment funds while supporting a diverse client base, including fund managers, institutional investors, and financial institutions across various asset classes.
- Assisting institutional investors, such as pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurers, and family offices, with fund investments, co-investments, and secondary transactions.
- Advising on fund governance, investor terms, fee arrangements, and carried interest structures.
- Working collaboratively with tax, regulatory, and other specialist teams to deliver comprehensive advice on cross-disciplinary matters.
- Supporting fund managers and sponsors with the establishment and structuring of private investment funds, including private equity, venture capital, real estate, credit, and infrastructure funds.
- Preparing, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of fund documentation, including limited partnership agreements, private placement memoranda, subscription documents, side letters, and investment management agreements.
About You
- You are a UK qualified solicitor with 3–5 years’ PQE.
- Prior experience in a leading law firm.
- You have a strong understanding of fund structuring, limited partnership law, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of work in a dynamic, client-focused setting, while contributing effectively to a team delivering cross-border matters.
- You demonstrate excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying issues, while developing a strong understanding of clients’ commercial objectives.
- You are proactive, enthusiastic, and committed to continuing your professional development.
