The Business: A long‑standing and privately owned business that combines multiple product lines, supported by in‑house design capabilities and established global supply chain partnerships. The Role: Reporting to the Commercial Director and providing a line into Finance, this role provides financial oversight and analytical support to optimise portfolio performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and present quarterly revenue forecasts using sales data, order book visibility, and commercial input.
  • Perform variance analysis and track forecast accuracy, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
  • Continuously improve forecasting methods.
  • Review monthly sales performance vs plan, identifying variances and impacts on financial commitments.
  • Analyse revenue by brand, category, customer, and territory to identify trends and growth opportunities.
  • Support the commercial team with financial insights to enhance trading performance.
  • Provide commentary on forecast vs actual performance.
  • Lead financial planning for business plans, contract renewals, and new opportunities.
  • Produce quarterly reports highlighting revenue drivers, risks, and forecast outlook.
  • Support contract management, marketing spend analysis, audits, and ad hoc financial reporting.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong commercial financial analysis and advanced modelling skills (Excel).
  • The ideal candidate is a data person; a traditional accounting background is not required.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into clear commercial insights and recommendations.
  • Effective communicator, able to present financial information to non‑finance stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and confident working across teams to support decision‑making in fast‑paced environments.

  • Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Flexible start and finish times between 7 am and 5:30 pm.
  • 33 days holiday, including bank holidays.
