Responsibilities
- To lead a team of Buyers and Production Planning professionals in line with company objectives & strategy including Supplier Relationships, Price Negotiation and PO Management.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency providing feedback and advice on internal change projects or activities which impact operational capability, productivity, efficiency and profitability.
- Risk management of suppliers & vendors including contract negotiation and service level agreements.
- Awareness and monitoring of global economic events and new technologies that can impact or enhance supply chain performance.
Qualifications
You will be a Procurement & Supply Chain professional with a proven track record of strategic achievement and people leadership within manufacturing operations. This opportunity would suit both a current Procurement / Supply Chain Manager looking for career progression or a current Head of looking for a new challenge. You will be an excellent communicator who leads as a positive role model, you engage well across all operational levels with the ability to influence stakeholders to achieve commercial change & objectives.
