Role Overview- The Procurement Manager will play a lead role in developing and executing procurement strategies that ensure security of supply, cost competitiveness, quality, sustainability, and long-term supplier partnerships. The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, R&D, Quality and Sales to support the company's business objectives and growth plans.

Key duties include:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage and continuously improve supplier performance through structured supplier relationship management.
  • Lead supplier negotiations, contract management and commercial discussions to achieve optimum total cost of ownership.
  • Develop sourcing strategies for raw materials, packaging materials, engineering services and indirect spend categories.
  • Ensure continuity of supply by proactively managing supplier risks and market developments.
  • Monitor global market trends, commodity pricing and supply chain developments.
  • Support inventory optimisation activities in collaboration with Planning and Operations teams.
  • Ensure suppliers comply with applicable regulatory, quality, environmental and ethical standards.
  • Drive supplier engagement regarding sustainability requirements, packaging regulations and customer compliance expectations.
  • Monitor procurement KPIs including cost savings, supplier performance, delivery reliability and inventory impact.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within procurement processes.
  • Support implementation and optimisation of ERP and planning systems.
  • Act as the primary procurement contact for strategic sourcing decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with Quality, R&D and Operations on supplier qualification and development activities.

  • Experience with ERP systems and procurement analytics.
