A fast-paced and growing organisation with high transaction volumes across multiple sales channels. The business places strong emphasis on accuracy, customer experience, and operational efficiency, supported by an expanding finance team. This role is based full-time in the office.

The Role

The Accounts Assistant will support the wider finance function across sales ledger, purchase ledger, reconciliations and stock control. This is a varied, hands-on position ideal for someone looking to build strong all-round finance experience within a busy commercial environment. You will work closely with finance, sales, buying and customer services teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing daily customer payments and maintaining accurate sales ledger records
• Assisting with invoice generation and credit processing
• Supporting purchase ledger processing and supplier invoice entry
• Carrying out daily reconciliations across multiple payment platforms and income streams
• Monitoring refunds, chargebacks and supplier returns
• Assisting with order tracking and supplier account monitoring
• Supporting audit preparation and year-end close activity
• Providing finance support to sales and operational teams
• Monitoring and updating product and stock records
• Handling ad-hoc finance administration as required

Benefits & Package

• Up to £34,000 p.a.
• Monday – Thursday 9am – 5pm, Friday 8am – 4pm
