As a key member of the sales team, the Business Development Manager will deliver increased sales activity resulting in the achievement of company targets, and ensuring the company is in line with its year-on-year business growth plans.
Key duties include:
- Help to develop the business sales and marketing strategy to increase sales of the business.
- Research, identify and assess new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
- Examine industry trends, customer needs and competitor activities.
- Effective networking and prospecting to provide groundwork for identifying new business opportunities.
- Negotiate price and terms, overcome objections, build trust and secure sales deals.
- Foster and develop new and existing relationships with customers/clients.
