This impressive manufacturer in Burnley has multiple sites in the UK, all with different manufacturing purposes, a prominent and growing international presence, yet retain a small business culture. Their finance team is currently at capacity and are in need of a Finance Assistant to support their Accounts Payable function. This Finance Assistant job will take ownership of a selected number of suppliers and be responsible for everything from setting up supplier accounts through to setting up payments and providing statements. You will process a high volume of purchase invoices monthly, resolving any queries and ensuring all the correct nominal codes are applied. You will also reconcile supplier statements to accounts, provide payment reports as requested, and provide additional ad hoc support to the wider finance team as requested in order to meet month-end deadlines. This accounts job requires at least 1 years’ experience in a finance team, ideally working on the purchase ledger. Professional development and progression is encouraged for individuals who are keen to develop, with AAT study support provided by the company available.
