Role Summary
In this leadership position, you will guide a specialist technical consulting team across key market segments, ensuring that advanced technology solutions are created, aligned with business goals and delivered consistently to internal teams and clients. You will combine strategic oversight with hands-on direction, ensuring that complex technical requirements are translated into effective, value-driven outcomes.
You’ll work cross-functionally with innovation partners, solution support colleagues and business developers to shape deliverables that solve real-world challenges and contribute to the organisation’s technical edge.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a team of solution specialists mostly remotely to deliver technically sound, client-centric solutions.
- Champion the development of integrated technology approaches that draw on the full capabilities of the client’s product and service portfolio.
- Act as a trusted technical partner to internal sales functions and external customers, guiding solution definition and implementation strategies.
- Translate customer challenges into coherent plans with measurable business value.
- Support pre-to-post sales handover and collaborate on technical validations, pilots and testing activities.
- Contribute to content creation for technical guides, presentations and instructional materials.
- Provide insights on market trends back to product and strategy teams.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Extensive experience (generally 10+ years) in solution design and technical consulting within enterprise infrastructure or similar environments.
- Demonstrated success in developing and delivering complex technical frameworks across structured environments (e.g., connectivity infrastructure, smart systems, large-scale venues).
- Strong grounding in technical planning, standards and design methodologies, including the ability to work with industry tools.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to make technical concepts accessible to non-technical audiences.
- Fluency in English and willingness to travel as required (up to 50%).
