Role summary

We are seeking a driven, entrepreneurial Account Executive (Producer) to generate new business, develop client relationships, and grow a profitable book of business across commercial and personal lines. This role is designed for a sales professional who is highly motivated by production, relationship building, and long-term ownership of client outcomes. The Account Executive, Producer will be responsible for sourcing and closing new business opportunities, partnering with internal service teams to deliver a strong client experience, and driving retention and cross-sell opportunities over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through prospecting, referrals, centers of influence, networking, and targeted sales activity
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities across commercial and personal lines
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with clients and prospects by understanding risk exposures and recommending appropriate insurance solutions
  • Partner with account management and service teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process and high-quality ongoing client service
  • Drive profitable growth with a focus on desirable client segments and strong underwriting discipline
  • Maintain an active presence in the marketplace and represent Robert K Jones professionally in the community
  • Support renewal strategy, client retention, and cross sell opportunities within the book
  • Maintain compliance with all licensing, carrier, and regulatory requirements
  • Stay current on carrier appetite, underwriting requirements, and industry changes impacting commercial property and casualty clients

Required qualifications

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Active insurance license required, or ability to obtain promptly if applicable

Compensation

Compensation range: $55,000 - $67,500 base salary + uncapped commission. Realistic total comp of $150,000 - $200,000+ at full ramp.
