Our amazing Supply Chain team is now looking for a S&OE Demand Planning Lead based in London! The UK&I Demand Planning team currently consists of 3 people working on the longer term base forecast, with the Commercial team adding promotional volumes in TPM.
Your Next Pour: The Opportunity & key responsibilities:
- Lead S&OE (12 week) demand process for UKI
- Adjust weekly Customer SKU volume based on customer insights and behaviours and sense check SKU roll up before submitting to Supply
- Provide the best possible short term (12 week) demand view to the supply planning teams
- Run exception messages based around priorities and review outcomes, speak to cross-functional teams to identify root causes and define actions
- Identify, take action and manage the response to abnormal orders
- Collaborate with Supply Planning, Sales, Finance and Customer Collab teams to deliver desired outcomes. Chair S&OE weekly forum(s)
- Maximise customer service by learning customer buying trends, within prioritization matrix principles
- Share timely alerts on potential risk in the S&OE horizon (Service & Obsolete)
- Track and report forecast accuracy and bias at customer & product level
- Monitor and track reasons for variances vs. plans
- Where required β communicate stock prioritisation decisions and monitor outcomes in case of constrained supply
- Work closely with the Customer Collaboration team: analyse and ensure changes in demand profiles by customer are reacted to quickly
- Feed lessons learned into the S&OP process to improve longer-term planning
- Prepare and share core KPI reports with key insights, weekly
- Lead continuous improvement review and action planning in the S&OE horizon
The Perfect Blend: Experience
- Broad supply chain experience
- Experience in demand and/or sales planning
- Demonstrated ability to lead collaboration across functions to solve complex and critical challenges
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, able to interrogate data and produce detailed insights
- Strong communication and facilitation skills to build and sustain a wide range of working relationships
- Solid understanding and ability to lead effective use of integrated SC planning systems, SAP IBP preferred
- Fluent in English
The role is based in London Farringdon (UK) and it will be required to come to the office between 2 and 3 days a week.
