We are currently recruiting for a Head of Grocery as a senior leadership role in the commercial function who oversees the strategy, performance, and operations of a defined portfolio of customers.
With a deep understanding of customers, this role is primarily responsible for delivering key commercial KPIs and aligning the goals, resources, and processes of their unit with the overall vision and purpose of the organisation. The Head of Grocery is also responsible for bringing TBG brands to life through impactful execution at the point of purchase and delivering distribution, share of space, and promotional feature growth. Using consumer insights, category-based selling, and creativity to build compelling commercial customer plans, they will be responsible for directly managing a team of Senior Account Managers and Account Executives and leading a broader cross-functional team matrix to ensure internal clarity, focus, and alignment through motivated and engaged teams.
In this role, you will:
- Be the owner of the business unit, approximately 50% of total company sales and a cross-functional matrix of 12 people.
- Lead the strategy and vision for the channel and defined customer portfolio (where to play and how to win), ensuring alignment with overall commercial objectives.
- Be responsible for financial contribution from Litres/Net Revenue to Margin in the channel.
- Deliver key Sales Process KPIs to ensure operational and financial efficiency.
- Drive commercial impact and brand growth through flawless in-store execution, ensuring TBG remains a compelling choice at the point of purchase.
- Develop future talent and capabilities, creating a high-performing, transparent, and supportive culture where individuals and teams can thrive, develop, and grow.

The successful candidate will have:
- A Degree / Master’s Degree (or equivalent).
- 8 years of experience in FMCG.
- Experience in People Management and Leadership.
- Cross-functional Team Collaboration: Ability to build internal credibility and navigate a fast-paced environment.
