Full-time working hours are 42.5 hours per week and due to the nature of dealing with livestock, flexibility in hours is essential. Evening and weekend work is required on a rolling shift rota.
The successful candidate should have an interest in aquatics or animal care, be enthusiastic, hard-working with attention to detail, and eager to learn all aspects of marine livestock husbandry. Full training is provided; this is a 100% hands-on role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Livestock acclimation
- Hands-on maintenance of the fish-house systems
- Feeding livestock and fish welfare
- Tank cleaning
- Picking and packing of livestock in a timely manner for sales deliveries
- Calling customers

Hours of Work: Fish-house shifts will include early starts and late finishes including weekend support on a rota basis. We can accommodate an immediate start.
Salary: Starts at national minimum wage with monthly shift attendance allowance payments for weekend and overtime hours and a quarterly bonus payment based on targets. This position starts as a temporary 12-month contract and then made permanent based on performance.
