About the Role

Tropic is entering an exciting new chapter, along with a complete rebrand we are putting a spotlight on the heart of our business: our Ambassadors. For over a decade, our direct sales model has been the backbone of Tropic - and now we’re ready to amplify that story, showing the world just how incredible it is to be part of our Ambassador community. As our Marketing Manager, you’ll spearhead this transformation. Leading our core marketing function, you’ll ensure that our Ambassadors are front and centre – the heroes of our brand story. You’ll be responsible for crafting campaigns that showcase the opportunity to build a business with Tropic, invite people from all demographics to join us, and cement Tropic’s position as one of the most inclusive and desirable beauty brands in the industry. This role will play a pivotal part in leading Tropic’s growth campaigns – finding a place at Tropic for everyone who wants to be part of our journey. You’ll develop and deliver marketing strategies that broaden our reach, celebrate diversity, and make our business opportunity aspirational and accessible to all. While championing our Ambassadors first and foremost, you’ll also ensure that our D2C customers remain engaged and inspired, overseeing core brand marketing campaigns, offers and communications. Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, you’ll lead a talented team and drive impactful, multi‑channel campaigns that align with Tropic’s purpose, values, and ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Core Marketing Team: Manage the central marketing team (including Marketing Executives, Content Writers, and the organic Social Media team), ensuring alignment, collaboration, and consistency across all marketing activity.
  • Ambassador‑Led Growth Campaigns: Spearhead Tropic’s next phase of growth by creating campaigns that celebrate our Ambassador opportunity and position Tropic as a brand that welcomes everyone – across generations, backgrounds, and lifestyles.
  • Multi‑Channel Marketing: Oversee the full marketing calendar, ensuring launches, promotions, and communications are cohesive, data‑driven, and aligned with Tropic’s Ambassador‑first approach.
  • Inclusivity & Desirability Marketing: Develop campaigns that elevate Tropic’s desirability across diverse audiences – ensuring our opportunity resonates across demographics and inspires a new wave of entrepreneurs.
  • Data‑Driven Strategy & KPIs: Establish and track key performance indicators for campaigns and team performance. Use insights and analytics to refine strategies, report impact, and drive sustainable growth.
  • Ambassador & Customer Engagement: Ensure all marketing initiatives strengthen both Ambassador and D2C customer relationships, making our Ambassadors the stars of our brand story.
  • Core Brand Projects: Oversee the creation of centralised brand materials, such as our Beauty Brochure product catalogue, product guides, core brand campaigns and anything that spans across all product categories.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Ambassador Development, Creative, Digital, Product, and PR teams to deliver unified, high‑impact marketing output that reflects Tropic’s purpose and voice. You’ll collaborate closely with the category Brand Managers for skincare, makeup, haircare and more to ensure their NPD and product campaigns align to our overall marketing strategy, tone of voice and calendar.
  • Ambassador Events & Tools: Work closely with the Ambassador Development team to develop marketing strategies for events, resources, and business tools that empower Ambassadors to thrive.
  • Infinite Purpose: Build out the brands’ work with our charity and sustainability partners, helping raise awareness of our ‘10% for the World’ pledge and ensure we have a compelling comms and storytelling strategy in place to amplify our work.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 8 years’ marketing experience, ideally within the luxury beauty, lifestyle, or direct‑selling sectors.
  • Proven experience in team leadership and delivering multi‑channel, insight‑led marketing campaigns.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong creative instinct – able to combine vision and execution to drive measurable results.
  • Experience in both B2C and B2B marketing, with an understanding of ambassador or direct‑selling business models a real plus.
  • Deep understanding of how to build brand desirability and community appeal across demographics and markets.
  • Data‑driven mindset with experience in KPI tracking and marketing performance analysis.
  • Excellent copywriting, creative briefing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A passionate advocate for diversity, inclusion, and purpose‑driven marketing.

  • Employment type: Full‑time, Monday–Friday, 9 am–5 pm (with flexibility for key events and launches).
  • Location: Tropic HQ, Croydon (Hybrid working: minimum 3 days in the office, a short walk from Beddington Lane Tram Stop with direct links to East Croydon & Wimbledon).
