We’re looking for a highly organised, detail‑driven Technical Quality Coordinator to help safeguard the integrity of Tropic’s products from supplier to finished goods. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our quality operations – ensuring everything we make meets the highest standards of safety, compliance, and performance. You’ll work closely with teams across the business to keep our Quality Management System running smoothly, champion ISO 9001 and ISO 22716 (Cosmetic GMP) best practices, and make sure all materials entering and leaving the building are fully compliant. If you love data, thrive on process, and enjoy being the person who keeps everything running to gold‑standard quality, this is the perfect opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality & Compliance: Implement and maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 22716 (Cosmetic GMP) processes across incoming goods, raw materials, and finished products. Ensure raw materials and components are stored, handled, inspected, released and documented in full compliance with both standards. Act as a primary contact for internal/external audits, documentation control, and continuous improvement initiatives. Independently manage delegated projects, modules, and quality‑related activities. Monitor and document activities to ensure ongoing adherence to GMP and QMS requirements. Investigate, record, and escalate non‑conforming goods.
  • Technical Data & Analysis: Collect, interpret, and trend laboratory and supplier data to identify patterns and drive corrective actions. Compile statistical reports and present insights to management. Process, trend, and escalate microbiology testing and results. Review and approve packaging components and artwork files.
  • Documentation & Approvals: Review and approve artwork for accuracy and regulatory compliance. Manage and verify Certificates of Analysis (COA), Safety Data Sheets (MSDS/SDS), and ingredient specifications. Maintain accurate documentation for full traceability and audit readiness. Ensure SOPs, Work Instructions, Operating Instructions, and Quality Records remain current and compliant.
  • Testing & Release: Coordinate and verify incoming component testing and releases for packaging and finished goods. Oversee raw material testing and make final release decisions. Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve non‑conformances promptly.
  • Cross‑Functional Coordination: Collaborate with R&D, Production, Procurement, and Regulatory teams to ensure timely approvals and issue resolution. Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to supplier quality development.
  • Auditing: Assist with internal and external audits, providing required records and supporting follow‑up actions. Conduct internal audits as per the audit schedule, documenting and escalating findings.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 22716 (Cosmetic GMP) standards.
  • Proficiency in technical data analysis, statistical tools, and quality software (e.g., Excel, ERP/QMS).
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
  • Confident communicator able to collaborate effectively across teams and with suppliers.
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
  • A team player who thrives in a structured, fast‑paced environment.
